Elias Griffin was born and raised in New York City, and received a B.A. in Art and Computer Science from Hamilton College in 2020. He is currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.

The visual language of his work is rooted in architecture and urban policy, and often draws from science fiction and comics. He is influenced by ideas of "Blood Memory", the relationship that historical ties have to present day experience. Taking inspiration from conceptual architecture as well as urban theorists such as Jane Jacobs, he is interested in the interaction between the built environment and daily life.
